In 1986,  God sent me a dream.

The gist of it was that I was to tell people about things that would be happening in the Last Days.  Sounds far-fetched?  Sure. But it’s true, nevertheless.

Then, he let me learn. Being a wise and merciful God, he did not plunge my twenty-year-old, college sophomore (remember, sophomore means “wise fool”) self into the job he had for me. He set me to learning.

For twenty years!

Then, he nudged me. Made me uneasy. Got my attention. Gave me to know that it was time to put those lessons to use and get busy doing the job he had given me to do when I was still in college.

So, I began. Not knowing exactly what he expected, I have only prayed never to let him down.

In all my life, I have done nothing so long as taught the Bible. Nothing. From 1980 - 2008, I have been teaching it, in one way or another, via one medium or another.

Here are some lessons I believe God wanted me to share with you:

I started in the Book of Revelation. Click that, and you will be taken through this remarkable book in fifty blog-length devotionals.

I moved then to see what Jesus said himself about the Day of the Lord, because many people protested that his message was not consistent with what is found in that last, controversial book of the Bible.  Here, then, is a study on what Jesus said on the Mount of Olives, when his friends asked him directly what to look for, when Jesus returned.

After this, seeing that Jesus himself quoted the prophet Daniel, I was moved to go to that book of the Bible and teach about what Daniel was shown regarding the future. Jesus himself referenced these prophecies; it was the least I could do!

Lastly, during these several months that I was kept working hard by God to teach these particular things, I was reminded of something.  When the Lord says something more than once, it is really important that we pay special attention to it.  Many times in his word, we read of the Day of the Lord, so I did a brief survey of the Scriptures that involved this reference.
