I’m not going to be famous. I’m not going to be rich. I’m not even going to make a decent living from royalties. That’s totally all right with me.
What I am going to do is publish another novel.
I ordered the proof copy of Captive Irish Moon just this morning. Print-on-Demand being the racy industry it is *she says, her tongue firmly in cheek* I won’t see this proof copy until mid-October. If I am satisfied with it, I will order several copies at what I suppose is a “wholesale” cost (the “just-paying-for-the-materials” cost) to give to my cover artist and family members. If I’m satisfied with it, the e-store site for the title should go live shortly thereafter. And, maybe before Christmas (I can dream!) I’ll be selling at Amazon.com.
Not the Big Publishing Mogul dream, maybe. Nor the Book Tour nightmare. Just getting a story out the way I want it told.
It’s very satisfying.
